Cookie Policy
How Free Loan Fund uses cookies and similar technologies.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Standing Room Only Foundation, Inc. ("we") uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Free Loan Fund platform. This Cookie Policy explains what we use, why, and how you can manage them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
This policy addresses requirements under the EU ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the U.S. state privacy laws that require cookie disclosures, and Israel's Privacy Protection Regulations (Provision of Information and Use of Databases), 5761-2001.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use local storage, a browser feature that lets us save preferences (such as your accessibility settings) directly on your device without sending them to our servers.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the Service to function (for example, maintaining your logged-in session). They cannot be switched off in our systems.
Analytics cookies
Where enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it. These cookies collect aggregated, pseudonymized information. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by disabling analytics in your browser.
Preference storage (local storage)
We store your accessibility widget preferences locally in your browser. This information never leaves your device.
3. Third-Party Cookies
- Stripe — uses cookies for fraud prevention and to operate the checkout securely. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
- Google Analytics — uses cookies to measure usage (where enabled).
4. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Service (for example, preventing you from staying logged in). Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies.

5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not currently alter our practices in response to such signals, but you can disable analytics cookies through your browser settings as described above.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
