Accessibility Statement

Standing Room Only Foundation, Inc. is committed to ensuring that the Free Loan Fund platform is accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, and in compliance with applicable accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and relevant national laws in the EU, and Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998.

What We Have Done

• Skip-to-content link — keyboard users can bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the main content.
• Accessibility widget — a discreet tool (bottom-left) offering text resizing, high contrast, grayscale, increased text spacing, a dyslexia-friendly font, underlined links, paused animations, and a read-aloud feature.
• Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Color contrast — text and interface components are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• Forms — inputs are paired with labels, validation errors are announced, and required fields are indicated.
• Reduced motion — when your device requests reduced motion, we automatically limit animations.
• Semantic structure — pages use proper headings, landmarks, and list markup to support assistive technology.

How to Use the Accessibility Widget

Select the accessibility icon in the bottom-left corner of any page to open a panel of tools. Your preferences are saved locally in your browser and applied on future visits. Use the "Reset all settings" option to return to the default experience at any time.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet be fully optimized, including:

• Third-party checkout — the Stripe payment flow is governed by Stripe's own accessibility practices.
• Embedded media — videos linked from third-party platforms depend on those platforms' accessibility features and captions.
• User-submitted campaign content — images uploaded by campaign organizers may not always include descriptive alt text.

We continually work to improve accessibility and welcome your feedback on specific areas where we can do better.

Compatibility

The Service is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers and common screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. If you encounter an issue with a specific browser or assistive technology, please let us know.
